What do I need to know about computers?
Absolutely nothing! You will learn at your own pace in language you understand. If you do know about computers that will really help digi:redo and lead to new experiences for you!
Do I get a free computer?
Yes you do. How depends on the type of volunteering programme you choose to join. See volunteering for more information
What can the computers do?
Anything you want really, within reason. Hi-end graphics and audio are too intensive on our machines. This rules out modern high spec games. These computers excel at internet, office and social networking
Can I choose a laptop or Mac?
I’m afraid that these items, as well as games machines, are only available to buy due to the few that we get donated
Can I build my own computer?
If you feel you want to learn to do this then join our Empowerment volunteer programme!

So what would I be doing?
Depending on what volunteer programme you choose and the skills you already possess the tasks are varied, with different levels of difficulty. Talk to our volunteer coordinator to see whats best for you
How old do I have to be?
You can be any age at all. Under 16’s have a parent or guardian present. All supervisors are CRB checked
